Search me. Because several people asked, I’ve set up site-wide searching. You can search Electrolite, Making Light, our sidebar blogs, and our comment sections, as well as various combinations thereof. The input form, bristling with offers of case-matching and regexp, may be found at the bottom of the sidebar to the left.

Cool. Searchability makes sites a *lot* more useable.
I'm not clear on why you have "authored on date" rather than just "author".
Is your search custom-written?

No, it's just MT boilerplate. I cleaned up the layout a little bit.
Still cleaning, too. I've just now relabeled some of the options slightly, in order to avoid confusion over "authored on," etc.

Suggestion: That first trio of radio buttons (Weblog entries, Weblog comments, or Both) should have one of them (probably "Both") selected as a default.
