    Notes:

Note that if all the sources cited are correct, she was born when her mother was fifty years old. These dates should be revisited.

We note also that the 1876 Family Records of Some of the Descendents of Thomas Besbedge, (Bisbee,) of Scituate, Mass., in 1634 by William B. Lapham claims that the Ebenezer Bisbee who married Bathsheba Whitmarsh married, second, "Mehitable, daughter of John Shaw." It does not mention a second Ebenezer Bisbee. The Lapham volume is far from infallible, starting from the fact that nobody in it is actually a descendent of Thomas Besbedge of Scitiate, but clearly this line needs another look.

But as this WeRelate page correctly points out, the will of Stephen Reed, 20 Jan 1737, gives one share to "Mary Shaw the Wife of Ebenezer Shaw of Bridgewater in the County afores'd who is one of the Daughters of the s'd Deceased".
