    He was created a Knight of the Bath at the coronation of Elizabeth, wife of Henry VII. In 1501 he was selected to escort Katherine of Aragón on her arrival in England from Crewkerne to Sherborne.

    Notes:

    He fought at the battle of Wakefield, 30 Dec 1460. That he died less than two months later suggests that his death was a result of injuries in the battle. That he was posthumously attainted indicates that he must have fought on the Yorkist side.

In 1417 he was made admiral of the fleet. On the death of Henry V he was an executor of Henry's will and a member of Protector Gloucester's council.
