Photos TNH at the Mead memorial stone
TNH, 22 May 2020 (thus the pandemic facemask), at the Mead memorial stone at Tomac Cemetery, Old Greenwich, Connecticut. The only correct date on this stone is that of William Mead's arrival in the New World, 1635. Of course the heraldry is entirely fanciful; the Mead family was not armigerous.

Notes - Arrived in Massachusetts 1635; in 1641, removed to Wethersfield, Connecticut and then to Stamford.
His wife's death record calls her the wife of William Mead, not his widow, indicating that she died before he did.
