This appears to be backward. According to the History of Parliament's own page about Sir Thomas Blount (at http://www.historyofparliamentonline.org/volume/1386-1421/member/blount-thomas-ii-1383-1456 -- this should be a live link on the entry for Gresley, but isn't), Blount married Margaret, not Joan. This is corroborated by every other source I can find. Obviously, changing the sentence to read "Margaret and Joan" rather than "Joan and Margaret" would fix the entire problem.
