      Jane was born in Whitley Co., Kentucky to Elijah & Naomi White Worley. She has 2 known sisters & 2 known brothers: John, Joseph, Louisa & Nancy. She married Jessee Walker in 1876 in Whitley Co. per Kentucky marriage records. Their first 4 children were born in Whitley Co: Elijah in 1876, Lou Verny in 1878, Leanna in 1881 & George Critten in 1883. Their next child Charles Edward was born in Arkansas in 1887. Their last 3 children were born in Columbia Co., Washington: Lafayette Jackson in 1891, Elizabeth Mae in 1894 & Jesse Harrison in 1896. Jane died in Columbia Co. in 1898 leaving behind her husband & young children. Her old wooden headstone is still intact next to her daughter Leanna's headstone.
