Cest", which suggests that the place attributed to him elsewhere, variously called "Wiche", "The Wyche", etc., is Wich Malbank, Cheshire, now called Nantwich. Jacobus (citation details below), possibly using the above reasoning, calls Thomas Masterson "of Nantwich, co. Cheshire."
