    • Governor of Lincoln's Inn.

"An attorney, he became a member of Lincoln’s Inn in 1423. While serving as a judge at Bedford in 1439, he was involved in an altercation with Lord Fanhope, who with his sixty armed retainers disrupted the court. In 1449–50, 1450–51, and 1454–55, he was one the Governors of Lincoln’s Inn. By 1456, he had secured the marriage of John Wodhull for his daughter Joan, [and] from 1470–74 he was involved as his son-in-law’s lawyer in the lawsuits over the manor of Little Durnford, Wiltshire."
