  After the death of her husband, she returned to England. She was definitely in Stepney, Middlesex on 17 Mar 1657, when she appointed attorneys to handle her business in New England. She was back in Boston, Massachusetts by 1665. Her (extremely) probable identity as Anne Sowgate was established by Robert Battle (citation details below) in 2024.
