  Came from England with son Thomas and daughter Elizabeth in 1638, on the Confidence, the same ship as Walter Haynes. He returned to England shortly thereafter, and came back in 1639 on the Jonathan with his son Peter, his daughters Dorothy and Abigail, and a distant cousin, Nicholas.
