Notes - David L. Cummings (citation details below) presents strong, if nonprobative, evidence that Stephen Vinall's origins were in the Weald of Kent, "a hilly region on the border of Kent and Sussex that provided many Great Migration colonists."
His father may have been Stephen Vinall, son of John, baptized in Buxted 20 Apr 1598; or possibly Stephen Vinall, son of William, baptized in Balcombe 11 Feb 1593.
