  Also called Reynold Fitz Piers. He supported Henry III against the rebelling barons. He fought extensively in Wales. He was joint guardian of the Welsh marshes 10 May 1257, Sheriff of Hampshire 1261-64, and constable of Winchester castle in 1261.
