    • He should not be confused with the William Sargent of Gloucester who died there in 1716 or 1717 and who is an ancestor of DK, although it would seem plausible that they were in some way related.

      A third nearby William Sargent was the one who died in 1674 or 1675 in Amesbury, about 25 miles from Gloucester, an ancestor of LDN.
