  Army officer and colonial administrator. His entry in the Dictionary of Canadian Biography is here. According to Joan Stevens (citation details below), Gen. Francis Le Maistre married "a Quebec lady, daughter of General Crammil". According to this descent, she was named "Margaret Grammie." According to this monograph about General Le Maistre, she was "Margaret (Stuart) Cramahé", and the circumstances of their marriage, on which the author refrains from expanding, are "intruguing" and "possibly legendary." The Dictionary of Canadian Biography entry on the Irish-born Hector Theophilus Cramahé, holder of various military and administrative offices in 18th-century Quebec and Detroit, ends by noting that "Cramahé was so discreet about his 22-year stay in Canada that it has been impossible to discover whom he married or whether he had children." Finally, according to the Dictionary of Canadian Biography (citation details below), Francis Le Maistre's wife was named Margaret Stuart.
