Notes - It is unclear when he arrived at Hartford, but his name is on the Founders Monument there. Robert Charles Anderson rejects the idea that he was the William Holton who arrived on the Francis in 1634. He removed to Northampton in 1654.
He is said by some to have been the William Holton who was baptised at St. Mary's, Holton, Suffolk, 20 Oct 1610, son of Edward Holton, but this seems not to be universally accepted.
