Notes - One of DDB's six proven "gateway ancestors", one of DGH's four, one of LD's five, one of AW's three, and one of XYZ's two. He emigrated from Exeter to New England in 1636 or 1637 with his wife and children, settling first in Dorchester and then in New Haven. By April 1644, but possibly as early as February 1641, he was back in Exeter. It is not known that he ever returned to New England, but his children remained there and his American descendants are numerous.
