Notes - Emigrated 1633; first at Cambridge, then removed to Hartford by 1636, probably in the party of the Rev. Thomas Hooker. At Hartford he was the first deacon of the Rev. Hooker's congregation. Deputy to the Connecticut general court in 1659 and 1660. His name is on the Founders Monument in downtown Hartford.
