    • One of the assistants to Governor John Winthrop. He was one of the few stockholders in the Massachusetts Bay Company to actually settle in America.

      He emigrated to New England in 1630, on the Mary and John that set sail from Plymouth, Devon on 20 March 1630, and he died in the same year.
