Notes - He was apprenticed to Richard Baugh, glover of Bristol, on 17 Feb 1619. Ten years later he appears as a burgess of Bristol in 1629. He was married and had several children by the time of his emigration in 1639. Family tradition gives him a first wife named Mary, but no evidence has been found to confirm that.
