    • Count of St. Pol. The Ancestry of Charles II (citation details below) calls him Guy II de Châtillon.

      "Guy held the office of Grand Bouteiller of France. He was placed in joint command (with Robert VI d'Auvergne) of one of the two reserve 'battles' of the French troops at the Battle of the Golden Spurs at Kortrijk (Courtrai) on 11 July 1302. He was able to escape when the French were routed by the Flemings, but his brother Jacques and many of his relatives were killed. He died on 6 April 1317." [Leo van de Pas, citation details below]
