Notes - Count of Ligny and St. Pol. Slain while commanding the van of the army of Wenzel of Luxemburg, Duke of Brabant, in battle against the forces of Wilhelm, Duke of Jülich.
He may have died a day later than stated here: "The chronicler Jan van Boendale writes in his Brabantsche Yeesten that Guy lay wounded and abandoned on the battlefield, until he was discovered by a scavenger the next day, who killed and robbed him. When this plunderer tried later to sell his booty, he was hanged." [Wikipedia]
