    • At Lynn in 1651; of Braintree, 1652, and settled the same year in Taunton. At each of these places he and his brother established forges, the first in Plymouth colony.

      He was survived by a wife, Margaret, who was not the mother of his children.

      Said to have been a son of Thomas Leonard of Pontypool, Wales, who is said to have owned and operated forges in Staffordshire.
