Notes - Identified by Savage as a son of Maj. Gen. Robert Sedgwick; identified by Anderson and others as a husband of Elizabeth Stone; identified by Goodwin as the father of Samuel Sedgwick who married Mary Hopkins. Birth and death dates unknown. Savage states that "he had probably been ruined in morals by serving in the army of England." His wife Elizabeth Stone successfully sued him for divorce on grounds of abandonment. He is variously reported to have died of the plague in Jamaica, or in Boston shortly upon returning from the West Indies.
