  In 1639 her second husvband Cornelis Cool purchased a farm at Gowanus, shich she inherited upon his death, but the fram was detroyed in an attack by Native Americans and she returned to New Amsterdam, where she and her third husband William Bredenbent owned a house on the Bever Gracht, now Beaver Street.
