  • Notes
    • "WILLIAM1 BUELL, a joiner, came to America accompanied by a woman whose death on 3 Dec. 1639 at Windsor, Conn., was recorded by the town clerk as 'Goode Buell.' She has generally been assumed to have been the mother of William but the late Donald Lines Jacobus acutely remarked to me that she may have been his first wife. If so, no issue has been seen."
