Notes - With his wife Sarah and his 16-year-old son William, he removed from Rhode Island to Nova Scotia in May 1760 on the sloop Sally.
According to this page at Rootsweb, the DNA of at least one descendant of this Samuel Bentley shows a probable descent from William and Mary Bentley of Ampthill, Bedfordshire.
