Notes - He fought on the British/Canadian side in the War of 1812, first as a private in the 2rd York Militia, then in Captain Samuel Ridout's company. On 27 Apr 1813 he was captured by the Americans at Fort York, and was released sometime before 25 Sep of that same year.
Said to have married Harriet Hill on 14 Feb 1804 at St. James' in York (later renamed Toronto).
