Notes - Based on his known associations, he may have been from Coventry, Warwickshire or thereabouts. He emigrated in 1634 with his wife and children on the Elizabeth Dorcas, but took sick and died in Boston harbor before disembarking.
From the diary of Samuel Sewall: "Edward Bosworth [...] being ready to dye, ask'd to be carried upon the Deck, that he might see Canaan. When he had seen the Land he resigned his soul and dyed: was carried ashoar and buried at Boston."
