Notes - Based on his known associations, he may have been from Coventry, Warwickshire or thereabouts. He emigrated in 1634 with his wife and children on the Elizabeth & Dorcas, but took sick and died in Boston harbor before disembarking.
From the diary of Samuel Sewall: "Edward Bosworth [...] being ready to dye, ask'd to be carried upon the Deck, that he might see Canaan. When he had seen the Land he resigned his soul and dyed: was carried ashoar and buried at Boston."
