Notes - Many sources, including Ormerod, make her a daughter of an unspecified "William Boteler of Warrington", of whom there were several. Todd A. Farmerie's SGM post cited below makes a sensible chronological case that she was in fact a daughter of John de Boteler and Alice de Plumpton of Warrington.
