Notes - He was part owner of a ship called the London Merchant, which was probably the ship of that name that brought passengers from London to Virginia in 1619 and 1620 and goods from London to Virginia in 1628.
He might well have been a passenger on some or all of these voyages. Rotherhite and Stepney, just downstream from London Bridge and across the Thames from one another, were the closest-to-London ports for transatlantic voyages in the 17th century.
