  • Notes
    • Also called Jacob Weaver. He was a Swiss Mennonite, one of those who settled in Weber-Thal (literally Weaver's Dale; now known as Weaverland) south of Conestoga Creek in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, about 1723. He had previously lived "some twelve or fifteen years in Lancaster" (Israel Daniel Rupp, History of Lancaster County, 1844).

Jane Evans Best (citation details below) calls him a "Mennonite preacher".

Jane Evans Best (citation details below) does not list Barbara Weaver among the children of Jakob Weber and Anna Bowman. Sources that do include the genealogical records of the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society and the Biographical Annals of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
