    • Emigrated in April 1635 on the Increase. First at Hingham, then Lancaster in 1654.

      For lack of a monarch in his ancestry, he isn't on any of the canonical lists of "gateway ancestors", but our view is that this term should certainly apply to anyone whose forebears can be traced back to the eleventh century, as Thomas Josselyn's have been.
