  • Notes
    • St. Gilbert of Sempringham. Founder of the Order of Gilbertines. Canonized by Innocent III in 1202. Feast day, 4 February or (according to the Catholic Encyclopedia) 11 February.

We cast a skeptical eye on the idea that he lived to be 100 or more years old, but it's not impossible. His Wikipedia page is here and his Catholic Encyclopedia page is here.

It is notable, at least to us, that it was the always-interesting Hubert Walter, Archbishop of Canterbury, who persuaded Innocent III to canonize him.
