      "[I]t is my belief that the name 'Hannah Reco', as shown on the 1713 (?) census is simply the census-taker's misunderstanding of the Dutch woman's pronunciation of 'Hendrickje'. The connecting of a Hannah Reco to an Indian chief, as shown in Bolton's History of Westchester County, (and quoted in Davis's Westchester Patriarchs) has no documentation at all, so far as I am aware."
