  Count of Regenstein-Blankenburg. He may have descended from the Reginbodonen, a Rhine-Franconian noble family in the 11th century with close ties to the monastery of Fulda and the archbishopric of Mainz, and he was count of Regenstein-Blankenburg in the Harz area.
