Mr. David Derr, who it will be remembered was paralyzed at the funeral of a friend at Middletown on Wednesday last, died at his residence on the Harpers Ferry road, about one and half miles from town, Saturday evening. Aged 66 years, 11 months. The interment will be made at Mt. Olivet Cemetery tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. The deceased was an active member in the Evan. Lutheran church, this city, and constituted one of the church council.

The funeral of Mr. David Derr, who it will be remembered was paralyzed at the funeral of a friend at Middletown on Wednesday last, died at his residence on the Harper's Ferry road, about one and a-half miles from town, Saturday evening, took place yesterday, the interment being made at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, this city. Revs. Drs. Diehl and Eschbach conducted the services. The funeral was well attended by a large number of residents in that section of the county, the deceased being a man of high standing in that community and generally beloved. He was an elder in the Evan. Lutheran Church of this city and with his family were regular attendants on the church services. The pallbearers were Messrs. Wm. S. Miller, Lewis M. Nixdorff, Wm. D. Bowers, Jacob D. Hane, David Frazier and Geo. H. Riser. C. C. Carty, undertaker.
