      MISTOOK DRUNKEN PAIR FOR BURGLARS

SHOT AS THEY BROKE IN DOOR

Murphysboro, Ill., July 18.--Mrs. George Joubert shot and killed her husband and brother-in-law, Moses Joubert, whom she took for burglars early today.

The Joubert family reside about five miles east of Ava. George and his brother, Moses, had been to that village and returning home in an intoxicated condition proceeded to break down the door which Mrs. Joubert had locked. The woman became frightened and supposing they intended to kill her, fired her husband's revolver.
