  The site for the Association des Caron d'Amerique displays a baptism record for a Robert Caron, son of Jehan and Marguerite, at Saint-Vivien in Rouen on 22 July 1613, but Denis Beauregard (citation details below) points out that no proof exists to identify this individual with the early New France immigrant of that name.
