      "Mrs. N. J. Gage, the widow of Moses Gage, the former Station Agent of the Northwestern Railway at Clinton, committed suicide by shooting herself through the head with a revolver, at 10 o'clock Tuesday night. Temporary insanity is the supposed cause. She leaves two daughters, one married. She was a very estimable lady, and there is considerable excitement."
