Notes - According to RD900, second edition, she was a daughter of Richard Cheyne of Shurland and his wife Margaret Cralle. Earlier, the History of Parliament reports her as a daughter of William Cheyne of Shurland (d. 1441), son of Richard Cheyne and Margaret Cralle, and his wife Eleanor Salerne, a daughter of John Salerne (d. 1415) of Rye.
But SGM discussions in late 2022 and early 2023 throw both of these into doubt. Evidently a forthcoming article in TAG by Nathan Murphy will lay out the evidence and conclude that her parentage is unproven.
