Notes - The familysearch.org archive "British Newspaper Archive" indexes a marriage of Hannibal Dunn, Esq. to Mary Ann, daughter of William Hunter, on 24 Nov 1838. The "event place" is given as Norwich, Norfolk. But the newspaper this appears to be drawn from is the 24 Nov 1838 edition of the Norfolk Chronicle, which makes us suspect that the 24 Nov 1838 date of the newspaper has been plugged in as an approximation of the date of the actual wedding, which according to the archive "England Marriages, 1538-1973" took place ten days earlier, 14 Nov 1838 at St. Stephen Coleman Street in London.

Notes - Alternately, she may have been the Mary Ann Hunter christened 22 Sep 1805 at St. Alban Wood Street with St. Olave Silver Street, London, a daughter of William and Maria Hunter. But her brother William appears to have also been baptized at a non-confirmist church in Bury St. Edmunds, leading us to think this baptismal record is hers as well.
That she was the eldest daughter of the William Hunter who was an alderman and lord mayor of London is confirmed by the entry for her son the Rt. Rev. Andrew Hunter Dunn in 1912's The Canadian Men and Women of the Time (citation details below).
