    • He was constable at Marshfield in 1643. He settled at East Bridgewater before 1667. On 3 June 1679 he was fined 10s. for being drunk twice.

      "On 4 Mar. 1684/5 Robert was indicted for felonious cruelty causing the death of his 14 year old servant, John Walker. A jury found him guilty of manslaughter and he was sentenced to be burned on the hand and, since he owned no land, to have hias personal properly confiscated. The courts charged wife Susanna with complicity but she was never tried." [Mayflower Increasings, citation details below]
