• Notes

  He was constable at Marshfield in 1643. He settled at East Bridgewater before 1667. On 3 June 1679 he was fined 10s. for being drunk twice. "On 4 Mar. 1684/5 Robert was indicted for felonious cruelty causing the death of his 14 year old servant, John Walker. A jury found him guilty of manslaughter and he was sentenced to be burned on the hand and, since he owned no land, to have hias personal properly confiscated.
