    • Also spelled Brinsmead. He was a blacksmith, and owned about 60 books.

      He settled in Charlestown by 1636, and was made freeman 2 May 1638. He removed to Stratford and was a deputy to the Connecticut legislature in Oct 1671, May 1672, and Oct 1672.
