Notes - He was a proprietor at Braintree as of 24 Dec 1639, but lived at Muddy River (now Cambridge). Savage says he was sometimes called "of Roxbury" because he attended church there.
"My son James, now in New England" was the subject of a bequest from John Clarke alias Kingman of Wells, Somerset, yeoman, in his will dated 24 Aug 1646.
