    • Unattributed obituary for James Wesley Joubert posted to his mother's Find a Grave page (citation details below):

James Wesley Joubert passed away Saturday evening at seven o'clock at St. Andrew's Hospital.

Mr. Joubert was born at Oraville, Ill. to Barbara and Moses Joubert, December 16, 1870. His mother died when he was three weeks old and he grew to manhood under the care of his grandmother Joubert and uncle, Dave Henson.

His father passed away many years ago.

He lived in Creek Paum and Three Mile Prairie community, where he was well and favorably known for his honesty, industriousness, and kind disposition.

When a young man, he joined the United Brethren Church at Creek Paum.

His passing leaves sadness in the hearts of his uncles: Dave Henson of Johnston City, and G. A. Henson of West Frankfort, and a host of cousins, those in the immediate vicinity, Mrs. R. G. Crisenberry, Mrs. J. C. Sill, P. M. Lucier and W. C. Lucier, besides many friends.

Funeral services were held at the Meyer funeral home at 2 p.m. today with Rev. William Boatman officiating.

Interment was at St. Andrew’s Catholic Cemetery.
