Notes - Sheriff of Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, 1258 and 1264; of Northamptonshire, 1259-1261. In Aug 1258 he was chosen in Bedfordshire to report the excesses of royal officials.
In Northampton Castle with Simon de Montfort the younger in 1264, while it was besieged by royalist forces; joined in the defense of Kenilworth castle, 1266. Lands seized; later pardoned.
