  "[K]nighted before 1326/7; M.P. for Kent, 1326/7, 1330, 1332, 1335, 1335/6, and 1336/7, Constable of Rochester, jointly with his father, for their lives, 1334.; Admiral of the Fleet from the Thames Westward 1335. He was summoned to a Council, 12 September and 12 November 1342, and to Parliament from 24 November 1350 to 15 March 1355, by writs directed Johanni de Cobham.
