    • Also spelled Broadstreet. Parentage unknown, but very probably from southern Suffolk or northern Essex. Emigrated on the Elizabeth out of Ipswich, Suffolk, May 1634.

      Sometimes claimed as a cousin or other relative of Simon Bradstreet, last governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony, but we know of no proof for this assertion.
