    • Like his father, he signed the petition on behalf of Lt. Robert Pike, and was a member of the Woodman party in that controversy.
    • Served in King Philip's War. He was a member of Col. Samuel Appleton's command at the Great Swamp Fight during King Philip's War. He was wounded at the battle of Narragansett Fort on 19 December 1675.
