  Emigrated 1684; settled in Grubbs Landing, New Castle, Delaware. Received on certificate from the Dudley Monthly Meeting by the Philadelphia Monthly Meeting on 9/4/1684. In 1691, they joined the rebel Quaker flock of George Keith, but after it fractured they returned to orthodox Quakerism. According to her episode of Who Do You Think You Are, Zooey Deschanel is among the descendants of William Brinton and Ann Bagley, through their great-great granddaughter Eleanor Brinton who married Thomas Henderson.
